Each year, the BCWLA sponsors a "Books & Breakfast" program with PACE Center for Girls.  PACE provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy.  BCWLA is honored to support and interact with these wonderful young women.

BCWLA Wins Award
for "Books and Breakfast" Project 

BCWLA's "Books and Breakfast" project with PACE Center for Girls won the National Foundation for Women’s Bar Association Public Service and Outstanding Member Program Award.  BCWLA Board Members Tonja Haddad Coleman and Jacquelyn Holden, along with PACE Board Member Judge Stacy Ross, accepted the award at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City during the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations 2008 Women’s Bar Leadership Summit.  Leaders from across the United States gathered for the event which included a speech by Geraldine Ferraro.
